About Yoga Rocks the Park
The Yoga Rocks the Park Community has organically grown from 30 yogis in Denver, to a collective of over 25,000 yogis, yoga teachers, community members, musicians, yoga studios, festival partners, non-profit organizations and mindful businesses who believe in the power of coming together with like-minded friends on a common mission --- to grow the practice of yoga, give back to our communities, bring light to inspiring yoga teachers, emerging musicians and innovations in wellness --- and to most importantly, to come together with our family and friends to play, move, love and celebrate each other in the sunshine in the presence of Mother Nature.
Today, with a beloved, passionate team of 20+ locally-based Event Directors in cities throughout the U.S., we collectively celebrate our own communities and play together on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer with our friends... sometimes 1000+ of them! Each of our 20 Yoga Rocks the Park event series was brought to its local community by a like-minded friend and is graciously supported in many beautiful ways by their own community. From one event 7 years ago with 30 yogis, to 150 events and 25,000 yogis in 2014 ---we think it's working! www.yogarocksthepark.com
